Digital token to be installed at RTO trial facility- Aujla

Separate window for senior citizens and Waiting area for applicants

Amritsar, June 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Member Parliament Gurjeet Singh Aujla today visited the driving test center for the renewal of his driving license but had to resolve the issues of the applicants present there. Aujla inspected the entire premises and service center. He gave standing instructions to the management and RTO Amritsar to immediately start digital token system so that the applicants might not have to stand in the queues. He also instructed to arrange for a well ventilated waiting area for the applicants with drinking water facility and a separate window for senior citizens. Briefing about the visit Aujla said that he had gone to the center to renew his  license, but the applicants approached him with their issues. He further said that the test facility is close to the army area so adding another floor to the complex is not possible but in spite of space limitation the center is trying to cater well. He said that he has issued certain instructions for which shall bring some relief to the applicants.
