BBK DAV holds an Interactive session with Gandhian Yuva Club

Amritsar, Aug. 20 ( Punjab Post Bureau)- The Gandhian study centre granted to DAV College, Amritsar under the UGC scheme of Epoch Making Social Thinker of India organized an interaction with students of History of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar on 20/8/2014. The students were first shown a short movie on Gandhi and were then given a questionnaire of Gandhi. There was a healthy interaction between the students and faculty of the two institutions.
The Head Department of History of DAV College, Amritsar Dr. Vishav Bandhu highlights about the life of Mahatma Gandhi and encouraged students to join the Gandhi Yuva Club. Dr. Komal Sekhon, Head Department of History BBK DAV College for Women spoke about the importance of History. Others who attended the interactive session were Mr. Amit, Ms. Shashi Suri and various research scholars.
