Punjab’s Chief Secretary encourages women stalling at Pitex

Amritsar, Dec. 8 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Punjab Chief Secretary Karan Avtar Singh Brar visited Pitex, while visiting Chief Setrythe Pitex; he said that relations between India and Pakistan can improve only after promoting business. For which the Punjab government is fully endeavored. In this direction, the state government has decided to develop the ICP.

            The Chief Secretary said this while talking with industrialists after observing PITEX-2018, being organized by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Ranjit Avenue. In response to a question, the Chief Secretary said that this program of PHD Chamber of Commerce will prove to be a milestone in the growth of Punjab business. He said that the government wants to increase business with neighboring Pakistan. Because relationship between the two countries can improve with the increase in business.

He said that Kartarpur corridor being prepared by the Government of India and Pakistan, where religious relations between the two countries will improve, the Kartarpur Corridor will open a new road for business between both the countries, in collaboration with the Punjab Government.

He said that the Indian government has built the ICP on the Indo-Pak border, but the traffic here has increased greatly over time. As a result, the Punjab government has also decided to increase the warehousing facility along with the expansion of the ICP in its borders. Work has started for this. Expansion of public services on ICP will give tremendous support to the businessmen of both countries.

On this occasion, Amritsar Deputy Commissioner Kamaldeep Singh Sangha welcomed the Chief Secretary and said that the people of border districts are waiting for the pitex.

This event has become a part of the people’s routine. Speaking on this occasion, RS Sachdeva, Chairman of Punjab Chapter of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that Pitex is being expanded every year with the assistance of the state government.
