MP Aujla dedicated two hi-tech ambulances at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital

Amritsar, Jan. 2 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Member of Parliament Gurjeet Singh Aujla dedicated two hi-tech Ambulanceambulances at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital. These ambulances were commissioned under 16th Lok Sabha MPLAD Scheme funds of Aujla. MP Aujla said that these FORCE 3350 ambulances are fitted with latest equipments and has space for all the advanced equipments and cost around 35 lakhs. One of the two ambulances shall be docked at Civil Hospital and shall be operated by Civil Surgeon. S. Aujla further informed that he is also commissioning two hi-tech batteries operated ride-on floor scrubbers and driers which shall be operational by the end of January. These scrubbers would resolve the floor cleaning issues which are due to lack of work force.

Aujla also inaugurated a new X-Ray room developed with more than 10 lakhs under MPLAD scheme for accommodating the machine provided by SAMSUNG. Aujla informed that the two crore worth hi-tech machine capable to making X-Ray films within minutes was given by Samsung but the hospital had no funds for the room, so he commissioned this project with his MPLAD scheme funds and dedicated the machine for the patients. Replying to a media query Aujla said that he shall be taking up the matter of X-Ray, CT and MRI films with Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh in order to arrange an uninterrupted supply of consumables to GNDH and Civil Hospital.
