Entrance Test for International Earth Science Olympiad on Jan. 19

Amritsar, Jan 14 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Geological Society of India has setup one center for entrance test for International Earth Science Olympiad-2019 at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The test is being held on January 19, 2019 (Saturday) in Lecture Theater Complex of the University. This information was given by Centre Incharge Prof. Avinash Kaur Nagpal, Botanical and Environmental Sciences.  She said that this test will commence in the University Lecture Theater Complex on January 19 at 10.30 AM. This test will be of 90 minutes duration and in the test 100 multiple choice questions will be asked. This test is for students studying in ninth, tenth and eleventh standards of Punjab. Top 30 students will be selected for participation in 25 days training camp in May 2019. The Indian National Earth Science Olympiad will be held at the end of the camp. The top four students will represent India at the 13^th IESO in Daegu, South Korea.
