Tour Guide Training organised by United Nations World Tourism organization

Amritsar, Nov. 17 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The United Nations World Tourism organization organised Tour Guide Training program in collaboration with department of Tourism, Punjab from 27 October to 31 October 2014 at hotel Alstonia, Amritsar. Three students of BBK DAV College for women, Navjot Kaur, Richa Sareen and Parambir Kaur were selected for this prestigious Training by the Punjab Tourism Department. The students were given Training about practice aspects of professional guide, communication skills. Problem solving skills, Group Tour handling skills and managerial skills Mrs. Iris Barry (Trainer and Active member of World Tourism Organization) was the main resource person. The programme was hosted by Mr. Balraj Singh (District Tourist officer, Amritsar.)
