Annual Cultural Function at Khalsa College Public School

Amritsar, Dec. 10 (Dharmender Rataul) – An Annual Cultural Function “Goonj….The Resonance” and Prize distribution function was held at Khalsa College Public School,  G.T. Road, Amritsar on Today with great zeal and fervor. Dr. Upinderjit Kaur, Ex Education & Finance Minister, Govt. of Punjab was the chief guest of this mega event. Dr. Sharnjit Singh Dhillon, Registrar GNDU, was the guest of honour. S. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, Honorary Secretary Khalsa College Charitable Society presided over the function. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Sarvjit Brar extended warm welcome to the worthy guests and presented annual school report highlighting the achievements of the students in various Scholastic as well as Co- Scholastic activities. The students gave mesmerizing dance performances like Gidha, Bhangra, Arabian, Sufi , Jugni and kept everyone spell bound by presenting Pyramids, Gymnastic, Martial Art, Skating, Gatka, Aerobics. Students who excelled in scholastic activities were awarded by the Chief Guest with trophies and merit certificates. As many as 25 sportspersons who brought laurels to the school at State as well as National level were also awarded with tracksuits, trophies and merit certificates.

The worthy Chief Guest congratulated the Principal and students for their achievements in various fields and encouraged the students to excel in life. S. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, Honorary Secretary Khalsa Colllege Charitable Society, appreciated the students for their marvellous performances and motivated them to do better in their future. Dr. Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Registrar GNDU,  applauded the effort of the students and school. Dr. (Mrs.) Sarvjit Brar (Principal) said such functions go a long way to bring out hidden talents of the young ones and channelize their extra energies.
