DAV Public School Bags Top Positions in Vaigyanika – 2016

Amritsar, January 24 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Atharva Tripathi of Std XI Science  bagged First Position in his group in Phase – II ( Hands on Competition) of Vaigyanika – 2016 at National Level which was held under the aegis of Science Education Centre , DAV , CMC, New Delhi at SRP DAV Public School,  New Delhi recently. He was selected out of 8778 students from 56 schools from 10 different states in Phase I written examination. He stood second in Mathematics and third in Physics and got a cash prize for his brilliant performance in the written test. He was awarded a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 5000 for his excellent performance in Phase –II. He earned laurels and high appreciation in this competition which aims to help students in learning the practical and theoretical aspects of any project with its details through hands on competition.

Regional Director Punjab Zone – A , Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam  Kamra and the Manager of the school , Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated  the students  and advised him to work hard and excel in his future endeavours. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school applauded the efforts of the teachers and the student for giving his best and bringing laurels to the school and his family.
