NSTSE Achievers Honoured at DAV Public School

Amritsar, May 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – 29 students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road were awarded Gold Medals for their stupendous performance in NSTSE – 2017, organised by Unified Council. National Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) is a diagnostic test which helps students to improve their overall learning ability and educational performance. It measures how well a student has understood concepts and prepares them for future competitions. Muskan  Kapoor of Std I , Parth Mahajan and Vihaan  Khanna  of Std III are the National  Achievers, Prashi Bhatia of Std II and Raveesh Gulati of Std VI  are the top State Rank holders. All the 29 students were awarded Gold Medal and Appreciation Certificates for their exceptional performance in the Olympiad at the National level.

 Regional Director Punjab Zone – A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school , Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Principal DAV College Amritsar expressed their happiness at the achievements of the students. They said that the awards earned by the students project the hard work and diligent efforts of the teachers to motivate and encourage students to excel. They congratulated the students for their brilliant performance.

 Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school applauded the efforts of the students. She said that the aim of participating in such exams and Olympiads is to provide a unique competitive platform to the students and identify young geniuses and create a talent pool for the future. She further added that she was happy to see that number of students from the school were excelling and bagging medals in various competitions and exams.
