Volunteers displayed quotes on Literacy week at various display boards. Quote writing was also conducted on World Population Day on the 11th of July. Divya and Pratibha from M.Sc. Computer Science and BA respectively were selected for best quotes. A Declamation Contest was organized on the last day of Literacy Week. The college also celebrates Literacy day on the 8th of September informed programme officer Dr. Jaspreet Bedi. She said that the unit also organizes lectures on legal literacy in coordination with Legal Literacy Club of the college. Volunteers were very enthusiastic about the event. Volunteer Pratibha of the college is already working for this cause in Citizen Forum Vidya Mandir School for the underprivileged. Programme officer Surbhi Sethi and Dr. Shaveta Kapoor were also present to bless students and to motivate them for literacy drive.
