Infantry Day has historic relevance, as on 27 Oct 1947 Indian troops first landed at Srinagar to thwart Pakistan\u2019s attempt to severe Kashmir. This event \u201cVeerta Ka Prateek\u201d is a tribute to the Infantry soldiers. During the three hour extravaganza, teams from various Regiments belonging to different regions across India will display spectacular precision\u00a0\u2018Continuity Drill\u2019 and various martial arts from all parts of the country.
