The affiliated colleges of Jalandhar district participated in this festival. Around 780 Student-artists from 18 Colleges participated in 34 items of Music, Theatre, Dance, Literary &amp; Fine Arts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Randhir Singh Uppal, AIG, Counter Intelligence Jails, Gurdaspur\u00a0presided over the valedictory function. Amandeep Singh, President, Young Bhangra Club, Calgary was guest of honor on this occasion. Dr. Jagjit Kaur, Director, Youth Welfare welcomed the chief guest and other guests. She gave details of\u00a0the achievements\u00a0of Youth Welfare Department.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In overall result of\u00a0 \u2018A\u2018 Division Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar become Overall Champion, \u00a0Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar Runners Up\u00a0and DAV College, Jalandhar stood Third. In \u2018B\u2019 Division Mata Gujri Khalsa College, Kartarpur was Overall Champion\u00a0\u00a0MGSM Janta College, Kartarpur Runners Up\u00a0and Trinity College, Jalandhar\u00a0\u00a0got Third\u00a0position<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While congratulating the students artists S. Randhir Singh said that Guru Nanak Dev University is a temple\u00a0 of knowledge &amp; wisdom and the youth festivals being conducted in this auditorium preserve our rich cultural heritage. We should not bother about defeat but learn from it.
