proved\u00a0 their unbeatable wit and genius by winning laurels in the final round of Vaigyanika \u2013 2017 at the National\u00a0 Level. It was organised by Shaheed\u00a0 Rajpal DAV Public School , Delhi under the aegis of DAV College\u00a0 Managing Committee recently.<\/p>\n
\u00a0The competition is held every year for students from classes VI to XII to encourage them to look beyond their textual knowledge and establish a relationship between theory and application of the learnt concepts. This year as many as 2000 students of Std XI appeared from DAV institutions all over India.\u00a0 Out of these students only 16 students were selected for the final round and three students out of these 16 were from DAV Public School Lawrence Road. Eshaan\u00a0 Sharma of XI ( Non \u2013 Med) bagged First Position in Physics and Manarth Saini of XI ( Non \u2013 Med .) grabbed 3rd<\/sup> position in Physics at the National\u00a0 Level and won a trophy and cash prizes. Arush Sharma of Std XI (Non \u2013 Med) bagged second position in Hands on competition and third position in chemistry.<\/p>\n \u00a0Regional Director Punjab Zone \u2013 A Dr, (Mrs.)\u00a0 Neelam Kamra\u00a0 and the Manager of the school\u00a0 Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Principal DAV College Amritsar\u00a0 congratulated the students for their brilliant performance and blessed them for their\u00a0 future endeavors. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school applauded the efforts of the students and the teachers for their achievement. She said that it was the hard work and diligent efforts of the students under the guidance of the teachers that had borne fruits.
