Red Ribbon club is a movement started by Government of India in Educational Institutes through which awareness about HIV\/Aids is created. About 80 students of the college from different streams like MSC (Computer Science), BCA, BSc (IT), BSc (Non Medical), BSc (Biotech), BCOM, MSC (Physics) participated in this competition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The competition was organized by Prof. Harsimran Singh Anand, Nodal officer Red Ribbon club, Prof. Kapil Goel, Prof. Renu\u00a0Sharma. Vice\u00a0Principal Dr. Vishav Bandhu\u00a0appreciated the efforts of the co-coordinators for organizing such competitions. Moreover he\u00a0said that blood donation is one of the most significant contributions that a person can make towards the society.\u00a0He inspired the students to donate the blood voluntarily by overcoming all fears.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking on the event, Prof. Harsimran Singh Anand, Nodal officer Red Ribbon Club acquainted the students about importance of blood donation and said\u00a0it is not harmful for an adult person to donate blood.
