Acquainting the students with the colossal contribution of Swami Dayanand towards the society, he highlighted Swami Ji&#8217;s role as a great revolutionary, reformer and revivalist of the rich vedic culture of India. He opined that India&#8217;s bright future can be guaranteed if we reconnect our youth with their glorious past through Gurukul tradition. Throwing light on Maharishi&#8217;s role during the freedom struggle, Dr. Bedi stated that even great freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Vinoba Bhave and Luxmi Bai were greatly motivated by the Rishi. With his prescient vision, Swami Ji had recognised the immense importance of Women Empowerment and Media Technology centuries back.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event began with a hearty welcome of the honourable guest by Dr. Anita Narender, Dr. Shally Jaggi (both from the Deptt. of Hindi) and Prof. Renu Vishisht (Deptt. of Sanskrit). Dr. Shally Jaggi also recited a poem in honour of Maharishi Dayanand. Dr. Anita Narender, while expressing gratitude to the learned guest, paid a glowing tribute to Maharishi Dayanand as an unfailing source of inspiration to the youth.
