The certificates were given away by the Principal of the school Dr. Neera Sharma. The Culinary classes conducted by Ms. Gayatri Peshawaria, Chef &amp; Founder of Gayatri\u2019s Gourmet, Master Class is a unique farm to fork programme which empowers children to make wise food choices through farming, cooking, baking, serving and recycling activities. Through the duration of the programme the junior chefs from grades 4 to 12 have cooked cross cultural foods with organic ingredients in a pleasurable environment. They were also exposed to recipe writing, kitchen gardening, food tasting, table manners, and much more.<\/p>\n<p>The students of Master Class had the honour of cooking, plating and serving six courses of a healthy organic meal for Padamshree Arya Ratan Dr. Punam Suri President DAV CMC New Delhi. &nbsp;The little chefs also had the opportunity to cook and serve Chef Manjit Gill at Majha House, President of International federation of Culinary Associations &amp; Culinary Advisor to ITC Hotels.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Regional Officer Punjab Zone\u2013A applauded the efforts the children and supported the much needed cause of food education and organic farming. Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Manager, DAV Public School, appreciated and congratulated the children on the successful completion of season 1. Dr. (Mrs.) Neera Sharma, Principal, DAV Public School, also wished the children and said, \u201cFood education is a need of the hour in this age of packaged and fast food.
