Public School, New Public School &amp; Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School, Sector 19C, Chandigarh organized a \u2018PEACE WALK\u2019 at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh.\u00a0Mr.\u00a0Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia, Judge Punjab &amp; Haryana High Court, Chandigarh flagged-off the young peace warriors, who were carrying placards like\u00a0\u2018Books not Bombs\u2019, \u2018Peace is Patriotic\u2019, Say \u2018Yes\u2019 to Peace &amp; \u2018No\u2019 to war etc. Young students of KB DAV Sr. Sec. Public School dressed as people from different religions and continents gave a strong message, carrying peace signs in hands, gave a very strong message for peace on mother earth. Justice\u00a0Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia appreciating the participating Schools shared that young children\u2019s with conviction for peace are our hope, as they are the 100% future and have the ability to usher in an era of world peace &amp; prosperity for all.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today\u2019s event was also organized by Yuvsatta as a curtain raiser event of an upcoming 9<sup>th<\/sup>International Youth Peace Fest-IYPF 2014, which initially was started nine years back with 14 youngsters from Pakistan and this year young people from around the world, from 45 countries, will be reaching Chandigarh on September 27<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0\u2013the world tourism day and will stay in Chandigarh to participate in this year\u2019s programme till Gandhi Jayanti-October 2, 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Announcement of the upcoming 9th International Youth Peace Fest-IYPF2014 Chandigarh, Sept. 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) &#8211; To mark the \u2018International Peace Day\u2019, Yuvsatta volunteers supported by 200 students of St. John\u2019s High School, KB DAV Sr. Sec.
