The Commission has sought detailed report from the SSP, Amritsar Rural and Civil Surgeon Amritsar, by August 26,2019 .<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;\">Disclosing this in a press communiqu\u00e9 Mrs. Manisha Gulati, Chairperson of the Women Commission said that the news reports alleged that the Police instead of doing its duty was exerting pressure on the victim for compromise with the opposite party. She said that Civil Surgeon, Amritsar was also directed to explain that why the victim has sent to Ajnala to procure the medical kit for medical examination which is 20 km away from Amritsar.
