As many as 44 participants including Senior Professors, former Vice-chancellors and Directors from various Higher Education Institutes (HEI&#8217;s) of Northern India attended the workshop. The objective of this workshop was to make quality the&nbsp;defining element of higher&nbsp;education in India through a combination of self and&nbsp;external quality evaluation,&nbsp;promotion and sustenance&nbsp;initiatives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; After lightening the lamp by Chief guest workshop inaugurated by Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice-Chancellor. He stressed upon the need for NAAC Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions for quality improvement. He appraised various programmes at the University on institutional ranking\/rating initiatives. Mr. B.S. Ponmudiraj, Deputy Advisor, NAAC Bengaluru delivered a lecture on Revised Accreditation Framework (RAF)- Process of Assessment and Accreditation, Onsite Visit and Logistics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The NAAC officials from Bengaluru and New Delhi interacted with the participants and trained them for accreditation process through group activities. Dr. Pratibha Singh, Deputy Advisor, NAAC New Delhi delivered lecture on ICT integration of Assessment and Accreditation Proces, Role of Assessor in RAF and report writing.&nbsp; Dr. Mohinder K. Grewal, Academic Consultant NAAC and Ms Nidhi Balakrishnan from NAAC New Delhi assisted the workshop. The last session included an open forum wherein NAAC officials interacted with the participants and clarified their doubts.
