He highlighted the significance of savings and investment in securities market and explained the basics of instruments dealt in the securities market and precautions to be taken by individuals while making investments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bhagwant Singh Sidhu, a Trainer&nbsp;at Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) also gave tips of stocks investments and pointed practical training to the students about investment plans associated with securities market. The workshop was planned and executed under the supervision of Principal Dr. Mehal Singh, said Dr Avtar Singh, Head of the department.
