{"id":157172,"date":"2019-10-05T10:08:32","date_gmt":"2019-10-05T10:08:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/?p=157172"},"modified":"2019-10-05T10:10:32","modified_gmt":"2019-10-05T10:10:32","slug":"flight-lieutenant-rishab-jeet-kaur-runs-kargil-kohima-ultra-marathon-glory-run","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/157172","title":{"rendered":"Flight Lieutenant  Rishab Jeet Kaur Runs Kargil to Kohima Ultra-Marathon- \u201cGlory Run\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Amritsar, Oct. 5 (Punjab Post Bureau) &#8211; Flight Lieutenant Rishab Jeet Kaur of Indian Air Force is the only woman <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-157173 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/PUNJ0510201916.jpg\" alt=\"PUNJ0510201916\" width=\"800\" height=\"452\" srcset=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/PUNJ0510201916.jpg 800w, https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/PUNJ0510201916-300x170.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/>team member who is running the \u2018K2K\u2019 \u2013 Kargil to Kohima Ultra Marathon along with 24 male team members.&nbsp; She was pick of all female school children and ladies of Air Force Station Amritsar Cantt during the flag off ceremony of K2K Ultra Marathaon resumption on 4<sup>th<\/sup> Oct 2019.&nbsp; Mrs. Jyotsna Kumar President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (L) was also present&nbsp; on the occasion to encourage the Runners and the woman participant in particular.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Rishab Jeet Kaur has been selected after regressive selection trials by Indian Air Force for this prestigious event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Rishab Jeet Kaur was born and brought up in Patiala.&nbsp; After her schooling from Modern Senior Secondary School Patiala and she graduated in engineering from Thapar University Patiala. &nbsp;She was commissioned in IAF on 4<sup>th<\/sup> January 2016 in Aeronautical Engineering Branch.&nbsp; She says \u2018Running is my passion and I have been running in various half marathon events during last four years\u2019.&nbsp; She is an avid sports person and has been participating in various sports like Kho-Kho, Gymnastics, athletics and Karate. She has won Bronze Medal in Karate at National level.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She says I am running for the Martyrs of the Nation and Women Power in special.&nbsp;
