Secondary School Putlighar to interact with parents to create better study atmosphere at home after school time.<\/p>\nAmritsar, Oct 7 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Parent teacher meeting was organized here at Government Girls Senior Secondary School Putlighar to interact with parents to create better study atmosphere at home after school time.<\/p>\n
All the class incahrge interacted with parents and exchanged views to create better study atmosphere at home so that children can excel.<\/p>\n
District Education Officer Salwinder Singh Samra, Principal Gulshan Kaur Bedi and Distt. Guidance councilor Jasbir Singh apprised the parents for future planning of students where they can proceed after completing the Plus two exams.<\/p>\n
Extra classes arranged for all the students so that they could yield good results in final examination besides information about all competitive exams after plus two, said DEO Samra.<\/p>\n
Students and parents were told about professional courses i.e Law, medical, engineering, Chartered Accountancy and B. Com, BSC, BBA courses. Parents were also informed that special classes being held for medical and non medical students so that they could gain good marks to further cut throat competition to proceed for higher studies, he said.<\/p>\n
It was also told that \u201dE-Content\u201d the new concept of syllabus from class 6th<\/sup> to 10th<\/sup> was started and details were provided to teachers and parents. Smart class rooms, projectors and heavy duty commercial RO system is recently added in the school.<\/p>\n DEO, School Principal and Guidance councilor distributed free books with the corporations of volunteers to needy and brilliant students of Plus Two so they can pursue their study without any hurdle. Parents were told that their children need not to take private tuitions, since school teachers by dint of hardworking making day and night one to help all students to sort out their confusions and problems with regard to studies,. Even teachers are available after school time if any student needs help in any subject.<\/p>\n Many parents said that their girls were interested to take science stream, but could not buy costly science books due to financial problem. So they were given instant solutions, books were provided, as many teachers also contributed from their pockets.<\/p>\n The academic school result for session 2018-19 was 100% in all faculties. Our students ranked top positions in also Quiz Competition in 2018 District level and Tehsil level and other co curricular activities like NCC and NSS.<\/p>\n Principal Gulshan Kaur Bedi said,\u201cParent-Teacher meet is a Co-genial Platform for success and overall development of the students\u201d.
