About 150 participants including students of SRGD University of Health Sciences and doctors took part in the workshop. Mr. Karan Sachdeva, Zonal Drug Licensing Authority, Amritsar was the Chief Guest and Dr. A.S. Padda was Guest of Honour for the workshop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Dr. Abhijit Dam Medical Director, KOSHISH \u2013 The Hospice, Rural Jharkand and Secretary, &nbsp;Indian Association of Palliative care was the key speaker. The Institute was honoured by the presence of Dr. Piyush Gupta Secretary and Chief executive officer and Mrs. Neha Tripathi Director International Relation and P\/C Palliative Care from Cancer Aid Society, Lucknow.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Dr. Harjot Singh organising secretary of the Workshop said that they will give opportunity to patients in future who require palliative care to live out their last days of life with meaning under the guidance of Dean Dr. A.
