CMC New Delhi and under the guidance of the Principal Dr. Neera Sharma, DAV Public School held its annual Art & Craft Exhibition Kala Sangam in its premises. Kala Sangam \u2013 a blend of creative and innovative art and craft display with an amalgamation of intellect and ingenuity was a hit with the visitors. The students of classes IV to XII put up a grand display of their innovative talents. Their year long efforts were definitely worth the visit.<\/p>\n
The Exhibition was inaugurated by the Honouralbe Sardar Shivdular Singh Dhillon Deputy Commissioner Amritsar. Esteemed Dr. J.P Shoor Director PS \u2013 I and Aided Schools DAV CMC presided over the function. Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Regional Officer Punjab Zone – A and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Principal DAV College also graced the grand event and gave their blessings.<\/p>\n
The honourable Chief Guest and other guests observed each and every exhibit, interacted with the students and appreciated the efforts put in by them. They blessed the students and said that such events bloom the creativity and give wings to the imagination of the budding artists. The concern for environment and doing away with plastics by using three R\u2019s was widely visible as the students presented a song to preserve our surroundings while welcoming the guests.<\/p>\n
The Children show cased there art and skill through craft items, needle work, paintings, projects, models and working models. The exhibits included artists made best out of waste. Some of them were paper baskets, flowers, frames dolls, pencil holders etc. The students gave vent to their imagination by making different working models like \u2013 volcano eruption, waste management, electric circuit, conversion of solar energy into electrical energy etc. The beautiful paintings and art work left the spectators mesmerized. The complete arena was buzzing with enormous turn out of the parents and children.<\/p>\n
The Art and Craft exhibition attracted appreciations from everyone and Raffle Draw gave it a grand close.<\/p>\n
Dr. J.P Shoor Director PS \u2013 I and Aided Schools DAV CMC, Regional Officer Punjab Zone \u2013 A Dr. Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar applauded and congratulated the staff and students for the success of the event.<\/p>\n
Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school thanked everyone and remarked such exhibitions offer opportunities and provide platform to the students to display their creative and artistic talents.<\/p>\n
