The Campus during this lockdown period is enrich with ear soothing chirping of different species of birds in the calm atmosphere of the University. The campus is depicting true poetical vision and blessings of Bhai Veer Singh\u2019s poetry. The campus&#8217;s floral look at present is the dream of Vice- Chancellor, Professor Jaspal Singh Sandhu, as he is nature loving person. He always inspires to worship and protect nature and environment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;It is pertinent to say that due to his earnest efforts, during the golden jubilee celebrations and to mark 550 birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji, the botanical garden of the university was adorned with 550 rose plants in 25 varieties in different shades and fragrance, brought especially from Bangaluru to mark this occasion. Still another lot of 500 plants in additional 25 varieties is pending due to spread of epidemic Corona, which will be added as soon as conditions normalise.<br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-171422\" src=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Peecock.jpg\" alt=\"Peecock\" width=\"725\" height=\"445\" srcset=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Peecock.jpg 725w, https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Peecock-300x184.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 725px) 100vw, 725px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Three species of honey bees and seven species of butterflies are roaming around the flowers. About 150 species are added to the landscaping of campus and Botanical gardens from PAU Ludhiana, &nbsp;FRI Dehradun, SFRI Jodhpur and other different locations in Punjab.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Large number of birds is enjoying the colorful Campus.
