The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued notification <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-172432 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Fastag-Toll.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"287\" srcset=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Fastag-Toll.jpg 450w, https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Fastag-Toll-300x191.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/>GSR 298 E&nbsp; dated 15th May 2020 for&nbsp; amendment in the&nbsp; National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008 which provide&nbsp; that if a vehicle which is not fitted with FASTag or the vehicle&nbsp; is without a valid or functional FASTag, enters into \u201cFASTag lane\u201d of the Fee plazas, then they&nbsp; shall pay a fee equivalent to two times of the fee applicable to that category of vehicles.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Before this amendment, the user of vehicle was to pay twice on the fee plaza only if the vehicle didn&#8217;t carry the FASTag and entered in dedicated FASTag lane.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Delhi, May 17 (Punjab Post Bureau) &#8211;
