{"id":172615,"date":"2020-05-19T18:56:00","date_gmt":"2020-05-19T18:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/?p=172615"},"modified":"2020-05-19T18:56:00","modified_gmt":"2020-05-19T18:56:00","slug":"indian-railways-transported-about-21-lacs-passengers-through-shramik-special-trains-in-19-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/172615","title":{"rendered":"Indian Railways transported about 21 lacs passengers through \u201cShramik Special\u201d trains in 19 days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>1595 \u201cShramik Special\u201d trains operated till 19th May<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>New Delhi, May 19 (Punjab Post Bureau) &#8211; Subsequent to the Ministry of Home Affairs order regarding movement of <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-171999 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Rail1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"408\" srcset=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Rail1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Rail1-300x204.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/>migrant workers, pilgrims, tourists, students and other persons stranded at different places by special trains, Indian Railways had decided to operate \u201cShramik Special\u201d trains.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; As on 19th May 2020 (till 1600 hrs), a total of 1595 \u201cShramik Special\u201d trains have been operationalized from various states across the country. More than 21 Lacs passengers have reached their home State.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;These 1595 trains were originated from various states like Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh UT, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Puducherry UT, Punjab, Rajasthan, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Also, these Shramik Special Trains were terminated in various States like UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu &amp; Kashmir, , Manipur, Mizoram, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Jammu &amp; Kashmir.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Proper screening of passengers is ensured before boarding the train.
