The Students of the college presented a play on Legal Literacy which highlighted the legal remedies available for children, women and physically and mentally challenged people. They stressed upon the need to awaken and empower the masses so that they can take recourse to laws to improve their lot. Various school and colleges participated in the events. Tanya of Senior Study School and Jasleen Kaur of DAV College, Amritsar received First Prize in Declamation Contest in the category of Schools &amp; Colleges respectively. Sahil from Police DAV Public School and Simran Kaur from SSSS College of Commerce of women received 1st prize in poster making in the category of Schools &amp; Colleges respectively. Mrs. Manjot Sandhu, Dr. Shelly Jaggi, Mrs. Manpreet Bhuttar &amp; Dr. Neeta Mohindra gave the judgment. Dr. Vinay Kapoor Associate Professor of Law Department of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, was guest of honour. She acquainted the students of various laws, which can help &amp; guide them in their future lives.
