In the camp, nearly 300 blood units were collected for which organisers thanked all blood donors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Asif Shaikh said that the blood does not carry the mark of the donor\u2019s religion, caste or his\/her background. Three lives can be saved or improved with every unit of blood. Every year several surgeries are carried out world over, which include blood transfusion and related treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Sultan Salim Baig and Asif Shaikh appealed people to donate blood regularly to save precious lives of the needy patients. If anyone returns after 14 days quarantine and donates the plasma then other patients can be cured.
