Punjab State Legal Services Authority SAS Nagar Mohali. Under the guidance of Balwinder Singh Sandhu Hon\u2019ble District & Sessions Judge Amritsar a National Lok Adalat was held on 12.12.2020 at District Courts Amritsar, Ajnala and Baba Bakala Sahib. In this regard, in total 38 benches have been constituted; 33 Benches at Amritsar, 3 Bench at Ajnala and 2 Bench at Baba Bakala Sahib were constituted for taking up and disposal of maximum cases in National Lok Adalat. A total number of 3804 cases were taken up in this National Lok Adalat and 1082 cases were disposed of. Settled amount in this National Lok Adalat is Rs. 10,16,17,515\/-.<\/p>\n
Categories of Cases Taken up in this National Lok Adalat are as Criminal Compoundable, Bank Recovery, Cheque Bounce, Matrimonial Disputes, Electricity and Water bills, Telecoms, MACT Matters, Labour Disputes, Traffic Challans etc.<\/p>\n
The proceedings of lok adalat have been monitored by Hon\u2019ble Mr. Justice S Murlidhar, Executive Chairman and Punjab State Legal Services Authority through video conference.<\/p>\n
