Sultanpur Lodhi, April 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – MLA sultanpur lodhi Navtej Singh Cheema, Deputy Commissioner \"\"Kapurthala Mrs. Deepti Uppal and SSP Kanwardeep kaur today reviews the development of variuos projects under \u201csmart city\u201d at PWD rest house.<\/p>\n

            \u201cStatus report ” of development works of Rs. 134.18 crore launched by the Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh under the ‘Smart City’ project at Sultanpur Lodhi during the month of February was discussed.<\/p>\n

            MLA Cheema said that the development work initiated by the Punjab government would be completed on time to provide better facilities to the pilgrims visiting this holy city and also help in developing the city as a tourist destination.<\/p>\n

            He also said that with the efforts of member Parliament Jasbir singh dimpa Rs. 40 crore has been sanctioned for the development of Sultanpur Lodhi Railway Station as a ” model railway station”.<\/p>\n

            It may be mentioned here that under Smart City project, Kapurthala Sultanpur Lodhi via Fatudhinga road would be made four lane at a cost of Rs. 77.1 crore, 4 laning of Dadwindi – Sultanpur road with Rs. 26.66 crore renovation of Holy bein banks with Rs. 26.09 crore.<\/p>\n

            Besides that construction of parks at Mori Mohalla, Central Park and Jwalaji at a cost of Rs. 2.3 crore would also be made under the project.<\/p>\n

            Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Deepti Uppal said that the work of setting up a solar plant at the Civil Hospital was in full swing. Apart from this solar power plants are being installed on the roofs of all government buildings at Sultanpur Lodhi. The work of laying the pipeline for sewage treatment plant has started. Apart from that the work of 4 laning of Dadwindi-Sultanpur Lodhi road has been started.<\/p>\n

               Taking part in the delibrations S.S.P Kapurthala said that CCTV cameras to be installed for the security of the city and a preliminary survey have been carried out. In addition, an integrated control room will be set up to connected all the cameras so that the security of the city can be monitored from all corners at one point.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
