Under this 10 students of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) were given scholarships today.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;While handing over the scholarships to the students, the SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur said that the Sikh body SGPC has always been helpful in the education of the students studying in the field of religion and faith.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Bibi Jagir Kaur said that students pursuing MA in religious studies in various universities are given scholarships of Rs 24,000 per year and moreover, scholarships along with certificate are also given to the thousands of students through religious examinations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Bibi Jagir Kaur urged the scholarship recipient students to inspire others to pursue higher studies in the field of religion and faith.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Assistant secretary Simarjeet Singh, honorary secretary of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Secretariat Dr. Gurmeet Singh, Amarjeet Kaur in-charge and others were also present<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amritsar, June 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) &#8211;
