He was an Indian revolutionary who played a pivotal role in the Indian Independence Movement.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The teacher of the school highlighted the sacrifices made by Bhagat Singh. They read out a few inspiring excerpts from his life sang patriotic song and recited poems. The school premises reverberated with the slogans of \u2018Inquliab Zindabad\u2019 and \u2018Jai Hind\u2019. This freedom fighter will always be remembered for his gusto and courage to stand up against the British Rule. In the end, the teachers appealed the students to follow his footsteps and bring laurels to the nation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Regional Officer Punjab Zone A Dr. Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. Pushpinder Walia sent their best wishes for the students and advised them to take inspiration from the life of Bhagat Singh.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Mrs. Anita Mehra Principal of the school in her address said that the youngsters today need to introspect and revive patriotic values and sprit of nationalism as demonstrated by Shaheed Bhagat Singh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amritsar, September 28 (Punjab Post Bureau) &#8211; DAV Public School Lawrence Road conducted a special assembly to pay rich tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary.
