{"id":198096,"date":"2021-10-05T18:36:51","date_gmt":"2021-10-05T18:36:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/?p=198096"},"modified":"2021-10-05T18:36:51","modified_gmt":"2021-10-05T18:36:51","slug":"one-and-half-years-old-master-anmol-gets-new-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/198096","title":{"rendered":"One and half years old Master Anmol gets new life"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Heart surgery done under National Child health program<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kapurthala, October 5 (Punjab Post Bureau) &#8211; The National child health program gives a fresh lease of life to one and <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-198097 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/PPNJ0510202103.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"798\" height=\"446\" srcset=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/PPNJ0510202103.jpg 798w, https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/PPNJ0510202103-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/PPNJ0510202103-768x429.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 798px) 100vw, 798px\" \/>half years old boy Master Anmol as he was successfully undergoes heart surgery after detecting congenital heart disease at Fortis Hospital Mohali free of cost.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Under the health screening program of Punjab Government by the health department in schools and angarwari kendras , the child was identified with major heart problems at anganwari kendra , Palahi Gate Phagwara in initial days of September 2021 .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Dr. Prabhjot Jabbal who heads the health team that led to the screening of child , said that as the teams identified the disease of child , they informed the senior medical officer at Phagwara civil hospital Dr. Lehmbar Ram and Civil surgeon Dr. Parminder Kaur and after getting administrative approvals immediately they reffered the case to fortis Mohali.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;It may be mentioned here that under the National child health program, the Punjab Government covers the 0-18 years of children in schools and anganwari kendras , under which treatment for 30 major diseases have been provided to the needy children free of cost in Government or Multi super speciality hospitals as per the needs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; After the successful heart surgery on September 11 at Fortis, he was discharged on September 16.
