Chandigarh, November 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Punjab Women Collective (Sanyukt Nari Manch Punjab) is organising its First National Convention in the favour of farmer protest on 20 November 2021 at Punjab Kala Bhawan Sector 16 Chandigarh. <\/p>\n
Convener of Punjab Women Collective Dr. Kawaljit Kaur Dhillon during interaction with media told that it is the first convention organised by women of Punjab in the favour of farmer’s protest, in which renowned women of the country would address on farmer’s issues.<\/p>\n
In a meeting yesterday at Kala Bhawan sector 16 for preparation of this convention, many women organisations of Punjab attended this meeting. Support emerged from all quarters for the convention and representative from central punjabi writer association, progressive writter sangh, punjabi writer sabha Chandigarh, indian people theatre association, sahit chintan sabha, women coordination committee and mulazam lehar assured their help. <\/p>\n
World renowned environmentalist\u2019s dr Vandana Shiva will address the convention on farmer’s protest. Dr. Navsharn Kaur will address the convention on role of women in farmer’s protest and Medha Patkar role in Narmada bachao andolan. Convention is going to dedicate those women who died in farmer’s protest.<\/p>\n
Dr. Sukhdev Singh Sirsa, Sardara Singh Cheema, Comrade Sajjan Singh, Kamal Nain Sekhon, Sudesh Kumari, Sonia Sabar, Narinder Kaur Mansa, Surinder Kaur, Sumitra Gupta, Subha Gupta, Balkar Sidhu, Amandeep Kaur, Surinder Jaipal, Yaspal, Jarnail kaur Ludhiana, Indu Dhawan, Harbhajan Dhillon, Kiranjeet Chunvir, Veena Jammu and Amarjit Kaur took part in this meeting<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
