They also took pledge to commit themselves to donate blood at their own expenses without any greed, free from caste and religion discrimination and will make relentless efforts so that no life is lost around us due to shortage of blood.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia encouraged NSS volunteers and staff to donate blood and support national blood transfusion services, blood donor and other non-govt. organisations in strengthening and expanding voluntary blood donor programs and achieving the theme of World Blood Donor Day 2022 i.e \u201cDonating blood is an act of solidarity. Join the effort and save lives\u201d. On this occasion Dr. Anita Narinder, Dean Community development initiatives, Ms Surbhi Sethi NSS program officer along with NSS team members Dr. Palwinder Singh, Dr. Sahil Guptaand Ms. Sweety Bala were &nbsp;present.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amritsar, July 6 (Punjab Post Bureau) &#8211;
