Multi-Speciality Hospital Sector-16 Chandigarh\u00a0was the resource person.\u00a0She provided us such an informative knowledge about concern topic.\u00a0She emphasized on\u00a0different causes\u00a0of\u00a0Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).\u00a0She\u00a0told that\u00a0PCOS affects women\u2019s hormones and this hormonal imbalance causes a women\u2019s body to skip menstrual periods resulting in excessive hair growth and androgen levels. This condition also makes it harder for women to conceive. The delay in diagnosis of PCOS can lead to the progression of comorbidities. Dr. Apoorva\u00a0also emphasized\u00a0on Body mass index, Glycemic index and lift style modifications. She concluded her lecture with following quote-\u00a0\u201cAsk for help.
