The tournament\u00a0 was held under the \u00a0auspices of DAV CMC, New Delhi at DAV International School, Amritsar . The school emerged winner in\u00a0 Badminton and Lawn Tennis. School Badminton Team is as follow: \u00a0<strong>Position <\/strong>: Winner\u00a0 (Gold Medal) 1. Noor A Singh &#8211; VIII, 2. Soumya Kapoor &#8211; VIII, 3. Sukriti Kapoor &#8211; IX, 4. Soumya Khanna &#8211; X, 5.Manya Khanna \u2013 X. School Lawn Tennis Team is as follows : \u00a0<strong>Position : <\/strong>Winner (Gold Medal) \u00a01. Nimrat\u00a0 Kang- VIII, 2. Alisha Menon \u2013 VII.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>In Athletics<\/strong> , Kanwarbir Kaur of Std IX bagged <strong>2 Gold Medals<\/strong> in Shot put and Discus Throw respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>In\u00a0 Swimming<\/strong> , Drishti of Std VIII bagged 5 medals . She won <strong>2 Gold Medals<\/strong>\u00a0 in 200 m backstroke and 100 m butterfly, <strong>2 Silver Medals<\/strong> in Individual Medley and 200 M butterfly and <strong>1Bronze Medal <\/strong>in 50 M back stroke.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road, Amritsar and the Manager of the school Dr. K.N. Kaul OSD DAV University, Jalandhar congratulated the students for their fabulous performance. They said that students must create a balance between studies and extra curriculur activities for their overall development. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school congratulated\u00a0 the students and the teachers for this brilliant\u00a0 achievement.
