The main focus of the workshop was to disseminate the findings and observations of the ICSSR project, entitled &#8220;An Empirical Study based on the Violation of Data Protection and Privacy of Underprivileged Society residing in the Border Belt of Punjab&#8221;, said Principal Dr. Surinder Kaur.<\/p>\n<p>Khalsa College Governing Council honorary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh in his opening remarks said that the exponential growth of data has generated new challenges and protection of data has become a major issue in all societies. Dr. Hardeep Singh, HoD, Department of Computer Sciences GNDU in his keynote address narrated various methods and techniques for protection of data and localization.
