Amritsar, April 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Guru Nanak Dev University’s ongoing four-day ‘Jashan-2024’ celebration \"\"is witnessing an array of talent and excitement amongst students. Today marked the third day of the event, highlighted by captivating performances by student artists and participation of esteemed guests.<\/p>\n

The day was dedicated to showcasing creativity and artistic expression, with various departments presenting group dance performances. The Dasmesh Auditorium reverberated with applause as students depicted Punjab’s folk culture, ancient traditions, and societal themes through vibrant dance forms. Noteworthy performances by the Department of Psychology, Department of Computer Science and other departments underscored the university’s diverse talent pool.<\/p>\n

Dean Student Welfare, Dr. Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi shared insights into tomorrow’s closing ceremony, promising an enchanting display of Punjab’s cultural heritage through dance performances.\u00a0Eminent singers and Bollywood personalities, Satinder Sartaj and Neeru Bajwa, will grace the occasion tomorrow. Their presence will add fervor to the celebration, inspiring young minds. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation in various competitions and activities, fostering a spirit of engagement and empowerment among students. Activities promoting voter awareness and civic responsibility would also be organized to create voting awareness among youth.<\/p>\n
