Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra informed that theme of today\u2019s visit was &#8220;Drug free Punjab\u201d. Program officer Mrs. Jaspreet Bedi told that NSS president Ms. Pratibha and volunteer Ada from the unit are already associated with the school . She further added that motive of this visit was to make volunteers aware about drug prone area Maqbool Pura and harms of drug addiction. Program officer Mrs. Surbhi Sethi emphasized that unless and until we change our mindset the purpose of this visit can not be achieved . Volunteers Ms. Manveen and Ms. Ada spoke on Drug Addiction. Mrs. Sushma Arora extended a warm Welcomed to Volunteers and staff. Mr. Brij Bedi spoke on length on the topic &#8220;Save the Child.\u201d He emphazied on practical implementation of social ideas. He further informed that school was established in 1999 and presently it has about 650 students who are getting free education. School gets aid from Spring Dale senior secondary school and other voluntary organizations. NSS volunteers also interacted with the tiny tots of the school.
