Various artists who gathered at the occasion paid rich tributes to the poet whose lyrics have entertained the masses for decades, followed by recitation of his popular numbers during the program `sun ja dil ki dastan\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">IAFA President Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina who was the chief guest at the occasion said the program was dedicated to Sahir\u2019s birth anniversary and was 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0in the series. He said Sahir\u2019s poetry has mesmerized one and all for the last many years and his songs had been on the lips of young and old, men or women. The popular songs were recited by singers Tejinder Ada, Hargun, Miss Pragya, Miss Kajal, Shamsher Bahadur Singh, Surinder Chopra, Rupali.
