Punam Suri President DAV CMC, New Delhi showered his choicest blessings on Dr. Neera Sharma Principal DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar for being honoured with the State Award on 15<sup>th<\/sup> August, 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was a proud moment for the school , as the Punjab Government honoured the Principal of the school Dr.Neera Sharma with the prestigious State Award on the eve of 69<sup>th<\/sup> Independence Day celebrations held at Gandhi Ground,\u00a0 Amritsar on 15<sup>th<\/sup> August , 2015. The award was conferred upon her\u00a0 by the honourable Chief Minister of Punjab S.Parkash Singh Badal in recognition of the exemplary service rendered by her in the field of Social Service.\u00a0 She received a citation , a cash award and a Gold Medal for her laudable services rendered for\u00a0 spreading awareness and sensitising the masses on important social issues. The award celebrates and acknowledges the dedication and\u00a0 hard work executed for the upliftment of\u00a0 the society.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regional \u00a0Director Amritsar \u00a0Zone \u00a0Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school \u00a0Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College, Hathi Gate also congratulated her for her dedicated services\u00a0 to the society. They blessed her for her future endeavors and wished that the school achieves greater heights under her supervision.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school said that it was a proud moment for the whole DAV Fraternity and she is humbled to receive the award .
