Among the other dignitaries were Director PS\u2013I\u00a0 and Aided Schools Sh. J.P Shoor, Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal DAV College, Manager LMC, members of LMC and Principals of various DAV Schools, Advocate Sudarshan Kapoor, Sh. S.K Sharma, Director Publications, DAV CMC, New Delhi, Sh. Satyapal Arya, Secretary DAV CMC, Sh. J.K Luthra , Sh. Rakesh Mehra &amp; eminent Arya Samaji\u2019s. The function began with floral welcome , lighting of the lamp and DAV Anthem. Director PS -I\u00a0 and aided schools Sh. J.P Shoor formally welcomed the Chief guest. He laid emphasis on the importance of moral values, planning and time management in student\u2019s life. The Chief Guest awarded the prizes and showered his blessings on the children. He asserted that the natural instincts of the children should not be suppressed, infact they should learn to fight for their survival and outshine in one or the other field. He laid stress on the importance of moral values that when followed help in smooth conduct, well being and prosperity of a society. He conveyed his heartiest felicitations to the parents of the prize winners. In all 275 students were awarded for their outstanding performance in the field of academics.
