He said that the role played by our great martyrs in liberation struggle could not be overlooked and we all should tread the path shown by them.\u00a0 Mr. Majithia said that Punjabis has made more than 80 percent sacrifices during independence struggle and they have also played a pivotal role to ensure safety and security of country&#8217;s frontiers. Mr. Majithia also honoured Mr. Bachan Singh father of Martyr Jaskaran Singh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile presiding over a function being hosted to mark 16th death anniversary of Martyr, Mr. Majithia also distributed grants worth Rs. 35 lakh to Mararri village for development purposes.
