The workshop was conducted by Mr. Vivek Karmokar,\u00a0 Associate Professor Department of Foundation Design,\u00a0 Pearl Academy. As many as 100 students of Std XII with Painting as a subject participated in it. The workshop was an interactive one.\u00a0 The resource person guided the students on Portfolio Development. He also counseled the students regarding various career options in Art and its related fields.\u00a0 The resource person clarified the doubts in the minds of the students and asked them to give regular practice to their skill.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Regional Director Amritsar zone Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women and the Manager of the school Dr. K.N. Kaul Principal DAV College \u00a0applauded the efforts of the school for arranging such a workshop. According to them, many career options are coming up in the field of Art and students need to explore these too. Ms.Shama Sharma , Supervisor Co \u2013 Curricular Activities, added that Art is a constructive medium to vent ones feelings. So, students must use this skill in a right and meaningful way. She thanked the guest for his precious time and presented a token of gratitude to him.
