The Punjab Hockey team put up a splendid show by defeating Delhi, Indian SAI and Mumbai. In semi-finals, the team beat Orissa with a score of 4-0. Jasreet Kaur also participated in All India Inter- University Hockey Championship held at Lucknow and she was the captain of the team since then. Besides, she has a good record in academics too. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achiever and motivated her to perform better in future. She added that the college players have always made a mark in various championships; as a result, BBK DAV is a forerunner in sports.
