On the occasion Veer Naris were felicitated by Mrs Anupveer Kaur Cheema, Zonal President Vajra AWWA. Col (Retired) AS Chahal, Director Zila Sainik Welfare Board made all the Veterans of the District aware of the facilities available to them.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Smt Gurcharan Kaur, 97 Years old wife of Sep Sulakhan Singh of 1 SIKH,\u00a0 who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation in 1948 was also felicitated.\u00a0 In addition, on behalf of Red Cross Society Tarn Taran, Lt Gen JS Cheema, distributed sewing machines to ladies and tricycle to the differently abled people of the village.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amritsar, 26 August\u00a0 (Punjab Post Bureau)\u00a0 &#8211;
