\nMalout, October 4 (Punjab Post Bureau) – General Category Welfare Federation, Punjab’s chief organizer Mr. Sham Lal, Vijay Garg, Shivraj Gill, Rajinder Singh, Krishan Kumar, Gurdeep Lal, Naresh bansal has revealed that the entire general category group has been engaged in struggle for not passing 117 constitutional amendment\u00a0 and pertaining to that the very bill is pending in lok sabha. A \u00a0sub committee of \u00a0lok Sabha has given consent without taking views of general group and the report has been put in the last session of Lok Sabha. Mr Sham Lal warned that its consequences will be very unpleasant as after passing this bill, the reservation will eventually start from 1995 in promotions and the very benefit will go only to non-general group. The \u00a0seniority benefits will also go with promotions and in case it happens, not a single post will be applicable to general category.
