The event that lasted for an hour witnessed maximum participation of students who showcased their skills in the competition. The contest required participants to entertain the audience and impress the judges with radio jockeying and stage handling.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-84346\" src=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PPN1901201702.jpg\" alt=\"PPN1901201702\" width=\"900\" height=\"393\" srcset=\"https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PPN1901201702.jpg 900w, https:\/\/punjabpost.in\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PPN1901201702-300x131.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Samiksha Narula won the title of Campus Rockstar along with a gift certificate of Rs. 5000 and a shopping voucher from Shoppers Stop. Varinda Talwar and Devika grabbed 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> positions respectively. It is pertinent to note that this competition was a part of a bigger campaign that has been organized by Mirchi at around 20 colleges across the state. The event was hosted by a famous RJ Heer along with Mr. Vijay.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Applauding the efforts of the Department of Journalism &amp; Mass Communication, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia said that such a platform gives students an opportunity to showcase their talent and to prove their mettle for the industry. She thanked Radio Mirchi for choosing BBK DAV for the event. Dr. Priyanka Barsi, Head, Deptt.
